At Uejima Sourokuen, we are looking for team members to join us for the 2025 new tea season! Experience the beauty of tea fields while working with us during the spring harvest season. No prior experience required!
1. Tea Production & Harvesting
- Job Description: Tea harvesting, transporting tea bags to the factory, setting up nets, fertilizing, and other tasks

Location: 50 ,Nakade, Shirasu, Wazuka-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto
- Meeting point is at the above address; work will take place in tea fields
- Tea fields are located in Wazuka-cho, Kizugawa City, Minamiyamashiro Village, and Kyotanabe City
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1.5-hour break, subject to weather conditions)
- Employment Period: Mid-April – Late July
- Wages: ¥1,500/hour

Qualifications & Experience:
- Manual transmission driver's license required (AT not permitted)
- No experience or age restrictions
- Non-Japanese applicants must have conversational-level Japanese proficiency
- Commuting by personal car or motorcycle
- Working Days: Minimum 1 day per week (Full-time welcome!)
- Other: Shared housing introduction available in Wazuka-cho
2. Tea Processing & Factory Work
- Job Description: Receiving freshly harvested tea, tea processing, and related tasks
- Location: Yamashiro-cho, Kizugawa City, Kyoto (8-minute walk from Tanakura Station)

Working Hours:
- 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (7.5-hour shift, 1.5-hour break)
- 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (7.5-hour shift, 1.5-hour break)
- Employment Period: Early May – Late July

Wages:
- ¥1,500/hour
- ¥1,875/hour for late-night shifts (10:00 PM – 4:00 AM)

Qualifications & Experience:
- No experience or age restrictions
- Non-Japanese applicants must have conversational-level Japanese proficiency
- Working Days: Minimum 1 day per week (Full-time welcome!)
- Other: Shared housing introduction available in Wazuka-cho
3. Tea Packaging & Shipping
- Job Description: Sorting, packaging, and shipping of sencha and matcha products
- Location: 50 Shirasu Nakade, Wazuka-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto
- Working Hours: 3–4 hours per day between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- * Working hours can be adjusted to fit school pick-up/drop-off schedules
- Employment Period: Mid-April – Late July
- Wages: ¥1,100/hour

- Commuting by personal car or motorcycle
- Working Days: 2–3 days per week
